The newly revamped XC Sport Max model is outfitted for everything from city commuting to off-road exploring thanks to the included lights, rear rack and fenders. The bike features hydraulic disc brakes with motor cut off technology, the Bafang Max mid drive motor, a Panasonic lithium ion battery, 8-speed Shimano Acera gears and adjustable digital display that provides info including current motor watt output, speed, odometer and estimated remaining range that fluctuates based on your pedal assist level, riding speed and other factors.
The XC Sport comes with the incredibly smooth and powerful 350 watt Bafang Max mid drive motor with peak output of over 750 watts that is powered by a 48v, 16 amp hour battery to provide riding distances of over 50 miles per charge. The XC Sport include removable fenders, racks and lights that make this an ideal city commuter bike.
About The Bafang Mid Drive Motor
The mid-drive motor constantly samples relevant information at a frequency of up to 80k Hz via a torque sensor and two speed sensors which are all highly sensitive. The resulting data on crank torque, vehicle speed and the speed of rotation of the pedals is made available to the controller, ensuring precise control of the vehicle while achieving the highest possible efficiency. The Max Drive System puts the rider in complete control. In spite of a generous power output and a maximum torque of more than 80 N.m, the motor operates in virtual silence. The modular motor design and integrated controller make disassembly easier and improve service responsiveness.
