WD: 27.5+ Wheel Set Conversion Kit Overview
Our 27.5" x 3.0" conversion wheel kit is designed to turn your fat bike into a 27.5" plus bike. The advantages of the smaller wheel and tire size include more nimble handling and cornering ability, faster-rolling tires, and ability to use a wider range of tires suited specifically for your riding environments.
This 27.5" wheel set uses the same size hubs as your All Terrain Fat Bike, but has a narrower rim width to allow the wheels to utilize the 27.5" tire size.
Included with this wheel set are the following:
- 27.5" wheels (40mm Inner Diameter rim size) with Quanta hubs with 190mm thru axle rear hub and 135mm quick release front hub
- WTB Ranger 27.5" x 3" tires with TCS Tough/Fast rolling casing option (installed)
- New cassette (installed)
- front and rear brake rotors (installed)
- thru axle to quick release conversion if needed
Please note, this wheel set is only compatible with the mid drive motor options.
- 2018/2019 All Terrain Kush MD / FS Max uses a quick release rear wheel with 8-speed cassette
- All Terrain MD / HT Max uses a quick release rear wheel with either 8-speed or 10-speed cassette
- 2019 All Terrain Ultra HT uses thru axle rear wheel with 10-speed cassette
- 2018 All Terrain Ultra FS uses thru axle rear wheel with 10-speed cassette
- 2019 All Terrain Ultra FS uses thru axle rear wheel with 9-speed cassette
